Melanie Madsen, DVM
Veterinarian
Meet Dr. Madsen, who is dedicated to providing compassionate care to our patients. Originally from Arlington Heights, IL, she has called Tampa, FL, home since the age of 15, where her family still resides. Having graduated from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and continued on to complete her residency specializing in clinical pharmacology at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine.
During her clinical pharmacology residency she specialized in pain and arthritis management. She has spent the last several years providing in-home hospice and euthanasia care for patients throughout Atlanta.
Dr. Madsen’s favorite part of working in the veterinary field is being able to connect with and educate clients. Communication is key to building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their pets receive the best possible care.
In addition to her passion for veterinary medicine, Dr. Madsen enjoys arts and crafts (macrame, sewing, drawing, painting, creating), gardening, DIY projects, cooking, and taking walks with her pup, Bear!
