I am new cat owner with two wonderful cats. Unfortunately, they have had some bad luck and brought home giardia and ringworm from their shelter home. Dr.Oudin and the ReadiVet team have been so helpful explaining their conditions and giving thorough instructions about medication and general cat care. Twice now they have been able to come see my cats on short notice, and I am grateful we were able to catch these things relatively early. They answer all my neurotic first-time-cat-owner questions, and I always feel less worried about the health of my cats after they leave.
We had a fantastic experience with Readivet for our dog Ziggy. Dr. Keener and the entire Readivet team were consistently punctual to all appointments in our home making it a very convenient and easy experience. They went above and beyond when Ziggy underwent a neutering procedure. Their communication throughout Ziggys surgery, and the subsequent days was outstanding. They insured Ziggy’s well-being and addressed any questions we had, making the entire experience stress-free. Highly recommend!
We recently used Readivet's services for our beloved 20yo cat. Dr. Keener and Angela were very kind and professional to us and our pet. Our cat unfortunately decompensated requiring euthanasia. Dr. Keener and Angela mailed a handwritten card to us afterwards. We are grateful for the care they provided our cat.
We got our puppy earlier this week and Readivet made it so easy to schedule an appointment that same week and so convenient because they came to our apartment to see Curly! Dr. Whitney Keener and her assistant were on time, super professional but also warm and kind! They made Curly feel comfortable during his examination and answered all our questions! He didn't even notice the shots because he was getting loved on and given a few treats! We really enjoyed their visit and it made the vet appointment so much more personal and enjoyable and we took away some great tips and tricks to help with training! The home visit vet appointment made it so much more personable than going into an office for a visit and so much better since we did not have to take any time off of work to take our puppy to the vet. I can't say enough good things about our experience and we can't wait to see Dr. Keener in 3 weeks for Curly's next appointment!!
On Thursday, May 11, my wife Mandy and I had to put our beloved 11-year-old English Mastiff, Olive to rest. Dr. Keener, Angela, and Meagan came to our house and helped us through the process. We are so grateful to have found ReadiVet - Nashville and those 3 amazing ladies. They could not have been more professional, kind, or compassionate. Anybody that is looking for in-home veterinary services will not go wrong with Dr. Keener, Meagan, and Angela. Their kindness both during and after the process has truly helped us along in our recovery, and we are so grateful to them for that.
Dr. Meyers and Meagan came to my apartment to see my cat who was having respiratory issues. They are both extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to organically ask the correct questions to diagnose and treat my sweet baby Pikachu, and also address some things I hadn’t thought of. Yeah, I know Pikachu is historically an electric rat, but this cat sort of is an electric rat herself, so do with that what you will.
Additionally I didn’t feel that I was being taken for a ride and that unnecessary treatments, vaccines, and products were pushed. I got what I paid for, and I love that. I paid for my cat to be calmly seen and treated, without the stress of moving her to a vet and sitting in a busy waiting room, and that’s precisely what we got.
An added bonus was a great and professional judgement free service, with a balance of feeling like two friends that just happen to be vets came over to checkout my cat. I didn’t even have to arrange a cheese board, but I wish I had. It could be vegan cheese, I don’t know their preferences on that front.
If you are wondering if it’s worth it, I assure you that it’s well worth paying a small fee more to have the vet come to you, and have your animal in a stress free environment that they’re comfortable with.. Thanks Dr. Meyers and Meagan!

It’s so helpful having the vet come to our house versus having the pack up our 100 lb dog to take into an office. Our dog has had allergy issues for years, licking sores on his legs that couldn’t be healed and always seemed to linger no matter the treatment. Dr. Meyers took his time to figure out the issue and worked with us to heal our dogs skin, he hasn’t had a flare up in the longest time. What a relief! We will never go back to a traditional vet office, thanks ReadiVet & Dr. Meyers!
